…where tall simmering grasses formed incredible textures and delightful contrast, showing off her beautiful veil.
On this fabulously sunny spring day photographer Jim Schofield was photographing Stacey and Joseph’s amazing day. Dropping into Stacey’s home the ladies were well underway with their prep. Even the bride’s white wellies were to hand just in case! Jim then headed a mile down the road and met Joseph and the guys having a refreshing glass in the local pub. Back to Stacey who was in her stunning gold/champagne dress from Padanee, her bridesmaids wore siren red lace with dainty satin bows. Alex, Stacey’s son escorted her to the church at Ballinagare , Casterea, Co.Roscommon. St.Brigit’s has an unusual layout with dramatic stain-glass panels between offset walls.
Stephen and the guys were staying on the grounds of Kilronan and not having quite the preparations the ladies have they had time to explore the castle with David. A few quick prep shots and then out into the amazing sunshine. The low winter light created dramatic shadows across the lush lawns and without the lack of leaves on trees you would be hard pushed to tell it was nearly Christmas. A quick visit to the castle bar to raise a glass and it was time for the men to make their way to the church in a wonderful vintage bus.

Wedding Photos @ Rosses Point and the Radisson Blu in Sligo
After a charming ceremony in Ballinagare and family photos at the church Jim captured a shot of Stacey, Joseph, their families and wedding guests outside before everyone made their way to Sligo. Stacey, Joseph and Jim drove on out to Rosses Point where the tide was in and the sun just dropping down onto Sligo bay. Lovely sparkling sunlight danced across the still water allowing the couple to get right down to the water’s edge. Then Jim brought Stacey up into the shelter of the dunes where tall simmering grasses formed incredible textures and delightful contrast showing off her beautiful veil. Warmly welcomed to the Radisson Blu, guests awaited and an evening of celebration got underway.
