……a multitude of textures within the foliage created a fairy-tale background for photos.
What a joy to share in such a very special day …… With less than four mile to travel to the bride’s house this wedding was one of the closest to home ever. The atmosphere was brilliant as all the girls were in full flow of preparations. But still time to capture magical wedding day photos of Sinead on her mare, Jessie. The bride on her horse, it doesn’t get better than that! Such wonderful stories these pictures will keep treasured forever. Sinead’s family gathered for a celebratory glass of champagne on the terrace overlooking, the Arigna Mountains beyond, before making their way to the church in Dumboylan. David caught up with Keith and the guys at the church before the ceremony began.

Wedding Photos at Lough Meelagh and Castle Dargan.
As Sinead and Keith made their way to Castle Dargan Hotel they stopped off for wedding photos one of our favourite places. Lough Meelagh, just outside Keadue, is a picturesque lake surrounded by trees. The main access is on the eastern side which means the light comes across the lake in mid-afternoon. A long pontoon allows a bride and groom to be surrounded by water and if really lucky a pair of swans may come by to help make a magical moment. Mid July and the countryside was at its lushest for Sinead and Keith’s photos. A brief stroll into the woodland beside the carpark and you were in a different world. Soft dappled light and a multitude of textures within the foliage created a fairy-tale background for photos. On to Castle Dargan and a wonderful evening of celebration.
