Gently rolling parkland with spectacular specimen trees, pathways winding through tall mature woodland, mossy walls and elegant estate fencing …..
Sharon and Dessie’s wedding day and at Sharon’s home the smiles were as sunny as the room the girls were getting ready in. It was a great morning of preparation with everything well planned in advance letting everyone relax and enjoy the special time. David captured wonderful photos; he even had time to take a photo of the whole extended family who had arrived to see Sharon before she headed to the church. At St.Patrick’s in Castlerea David caught Dessie and the guys as they walked in the gates. Love that shot of the men striding purposefully towards the church doors! A fabulous long aisle in St.Patrick’s sweeps up to a beautiful decorative altar creating a very special sense of occasion. A charming ceremony where (by chance or design) the altar server’s capes matched the elegant royal blue of the bridesmaids dresses.

Wedding Photos @ Clonalis House and The Landmark Hotel.
Sharon and Dessie chose Clonalis House for wedding party photos. The demesne holds lots of context for a local wedding and offers a number of different landscapes. Gently rolling parkland with spectacular specimen trees, pathways winding through tall mature woodland, mossy walls and elegant estate fencing all flow easily for one to the other. The pièce de résistance is the intricate workmanship of the metal bridge which makes a perfect location for wedding photographs. A delightful photo location. Onward to The Landmark Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon where the welcome is always wonderful and where they have a sumptuously decorated room especially for the wedding party to relax and have a glass of champagne. Deep reds offset with gold and green and a stunning chandelier create a rich backdrop. A delicious dinner and a night of celebration were ahead of Sharon and Dessie.
