A classic black and white theme works so well in a castle setting .
A wonderful place to start photographing a wedding is in a Bridal Suite at Kilronan Castle. The tall four poster bed dressed in luxurious reds and gold is a great backdrop for preparation photos on a bride’s wedding day and also a favourite for getting a photo of all the ladies dresses. Selina and Matthew’s wedding day on the 1st September 2016 was set within the grounds of Kilronan Castle. All their family were there to enjoy the excitement and relax in the delightful atmosphere of the castle. A classic black and white theme works so well in a castle setting and adds real elegance to wedding photography. And a touch of something magical as Selina’s shoes punched colour with the most fabulous pair in blue satin with gorgeous diamanté design on the heels.

Wedding Photos @ Kilronan Castle
Selina and Matthew’s lovely intimate ceremony was held in the Library at Kilronan. Keeping within the surrounds of Kilronan allowed wonderful use of the many locations for wedding photos around the castle. The Robert Genders room is always a favourite with dual aspect windows for incredible light and views down to Lough Meelagh beyond. Though a small room the scale of the French salon style decoration is perfect and creates an amazing backdrop for photos with even gilded mirrors for a photographer to play with. The Spa and the Wine Cellar both have darker romantic atmospheres and when candles are added really special imagery is captured. A very special day at Kilronan Castle.
