The ‘pièce de résistance’ of the walled garden is the fairy-tale turret that overlooks the lake beyond.
Staying in a house on the grounds of Lough Rynn, Rynagh her four bridesmaids, one junior bridesmaid and 3 flower-girls were enjoying a busy but fun morning. Lovely bright rooms made for great photos. Pink is definitely the colour of 2017 and on a bright summers day it looks fabulous within the lush landscape. David met with Shane at St Patrick’s Church in Mohill. St Patrick’s is a wonderful wedding location. Great access for the wedding cars, steps leading up to the church door, a beautiful aisle (wide and long) and an elegant, brightly lit interior. It has a real sense of ceremony and grace.

Wedding Photos at Lough Rynn Castle Estate & Gardens.
June and the rhododendrons were out giving a vibrant punch of colour to some of Rynagh and Shane’s wedding photos. The gardens at Lough Rynn create an incredible backdrop for wedding photographs no matter what time of year. There is always something different to focus on in the landscape and the structural planting within the walled gardens ensures lots of choice of locations. Deep flights of stone steps edged by high walls frame wedding parties delightfully while pathways crisscrossing the lawns and borders allow for a more casual approach as couples stroll along. The ‘pièce de résistance’ of the walled garden is the fairy-tale turret that overlooks the lake beyond. The hexagonal stone turret with tall slated roof makes for magical wedding photos with an amazing ‘Romeo & Juliet’ balcony just big enough for a couple to steps out onto. The formality of the terraced gardens is contrasted by areas of shrubbery and trees with a delicate underlay of woodland flowers and frothy ferns. Guests awaiting and celebrations ahead it was time for Rynagh and Shane to re-join their guest on the lawns of Lough Rynn.
