A great day of wedding photos got under way during breakfast at Evan’s home. Outside sat one of the most unique wedding cars ever in the shape of a very cool vintage Chevrolet pick-up. White roof, blue body work, white wall tires and classic chrome! With a few bales of hay for comfort where better for the groomsmen but the flatbed of the truck! Mairead and her ladies were also enjoying the morning with help from her wonderful flower-girls and pageboy. Mairead wore a softly draped gown with a beautiful lace over-bodice that skimmed her shoulders perfectly. Mairead arrived to the church, in a very different style than the guys, in a pure modern sleek Mercedes Benz.

Wedding Photos at Lough Rynn Castle Estate
Mairead and Evan married at The Church of the Immaculate Conception in Ballinafad where Fr Julian Lupot, who was only a few weeks in the parish, had made a wonderful effort to get to know the first couple he would wed there. Arriving to Lough Rynn to blue skies the wedding party headed to the walled gardens and as there was a chill in the air the staff had blankets and a hot-water bottle for the journey in the golf cart. There was extra special context to the wedding photos as Evan had spent many afternoons exploring the grounds of Lough Rynn as a young man. The fairy-tale turret was really special and added a whole magical layer to the memories which their wedding photographs captured. The umbrellas came out briefly but in true Lough Rynn style their striking blue and white colour way and gold branding actually added to the imagery. Elegant and framing the portraits. New to us was a huge heart, all lighted and set like an arch for everyone to walk through. It also made a perfect setting from photos and became the location of choice for everyone as the night went on. A fabulous day full of unique wedding photos.
