The glass corridor …………… with gentle blue light giving an ethereal feel to wedding photos ………
A wonderfully relaxed household with preparations well underway made for a great start to the wedding photography on Mairéad and Conor’s wedding day. Mairéad’s gorgeous dress had a cool high neckline which she accessorised with a pretty floral hair ribbon and her veil held perfectly far back on her head. A stunning simple, elegant and contemporary silhouette that worked perfectly throughout the day. Her bridesmaids wore burgundy while Conor and the guys wore dark navy suits with ivory (Conor) and silver (best-man and groomsman). Mairéad’s bouquet was from A Room in Bloom (who we met earlier this year at the Sheraton Wedding Workshop); it was full of fabulous textures and contemporary tones of peach, burgundy, cream and blush. David met with Conor and the guys for a few photos before the ceremony. The church in Kiltoom where they wed has some wonderful woodwork especially within the craftsmanship of the altar pieces.

Wedding Photography at Lough Ree the Sheraton Athlone Hotel.
On their way to Athlone the wedding party stopped off at with dusk just drifting across the sky. Mirror still water and fab views across Lough Ree created a romantic winter setting for wedding photos. But light was falling fast and it was time to head for the Sheraton Hotel in Athlone. One of the finest welcomes in the west greeted their arrival and it was up to the 2nd floor for their drinks reception. The glass corridor leading along the roof terrace is magical once dusk has fallen, with gentle blue light giving an ethereal feeling to wedding photos of the couple. As always the bell for dinner seems to ring too soon but the meal ahead was eagerly awaited and the Sheraton in Athlone never disappoint with their cuisine.
