The richness of the décor and the luxury of the fabrics in the Bridal suite at Kilronan Castle Estate are a perfect backdrop for photos on the morning of your wedding. Lorna and her ladies were enjoying the relaxed preparations that staying at the castle the night before offers. John and the guys were there too but staying in a different part of the castle. Wonderful wedding photographs were possible as there was lots of time and opportunity to move between bride and groom during the morning. Time for the guys to check out the cars and still have a relaxed pint in the drawing room before heading to St.Patrick’s church in Drumshanbo. Lorna and John’s ceremony at St.Patrick’s was delightful with both laughter and sincerity balancing to create a wedding to be remembered.

Wedding Photos @ Lough Allen and Kilronan Castle.
On the way back to Kilronan Castle Lorna and John pulled in to the shores of Lough Allen at the canal lock. There are so many options here with a lush landscape of trees lining the dark ribbon of water that appears mirror like beneath the arch of the bridge. In contrast the views over the open water of Lough Allen to Slieve an Iarainn are spectacularly dramatic. All set around the moorings where the pontoon gives access, for the wedding party, right out into the lake. Even the harp sculpture sparked humour and fun in this amazing day of laughter and happiness. But Kilronan Castle beckoned where the warmest of welcome and their guests awaited. Lorna had a cool parasol with ‘Just Married’ which added extra fun to their wedding photos. Accessories can be a wonderful distraction for hands helping to make for more casual imagery. Lorna and John even found time to have a quiet pint in the drawing room before being greeted to tremendous applause as they entered the Ballroom.
