Laura’s flowing lace gown with wrist length sleeves was gorgeous and the wedding photos of the bride in her dress with her grey Connemara mare are very, very special.
The 5th of September saw wedding photographer David Knight catch-up with the groom and groomsmen who were enjoying the morning, at a house within the grounds of Lough Rynn Castle, before heading for the church in Fenagh. Great shots captured David was away to the girls who were getting ready at Laura’s home place, Longstone Stud. A wonderful equine presence meant the horses nearly stole the show. Laura’s Champion mare ‘Roo Belle’ was all decked out in her Clifton 2014 + 2015 Champions ribbons and long red rosettes, a tough sight for any bride to compete with.
Laura’s flowing lace gown with wrist length sleeves was gorgeous and the wedding photos of the bride in her dress with her grey Connemara mare are very, very special. Another wonderful detail on the morning of the wedding was the scallop’s shells. A wedding photograph of Laura’s ring sitting on top of the heart shaped silver ring box snuggled in a bed of moss all inside an open scallop shell is just fabulous. A delightful photo that will make for a stunning detail in their wedding album. To carry on the equine theme a beautifully turned out horse and carriage arrived to take Laura and her Dad to the church. At the church guests were greeted with a sign that read:
‘Friends of the bride
Friends of the groom
Please sit together
There is plenty of room’

Laura’s mum had created all the fabulous floral decorations for the church and hotel adding so much to the ceremony and celebrations. Leaving the church by horse drawn carriage the couple made a brief stop at The Abbey Bar before making the perfect arrival to Lough Rynn castle. The steps of the carriage led directly to the red carpet that swept Laura and Kevin into the castle and towards their guests.
But first a visit to the garden at Lough Rynn is a must. With so many extraordinary locations for wedding photos the terraced walled gardens offer both formality within its structure and also the opportunity to casually stroll along pathways and across manicured lawns. Back at the castle another equestrian element waited. An ice-sculpture of a rearing Arabian horse took pride of place, completely in keeping with the splendour of the stunning Baronial Hall at Lough Rynn Castle.
