The magnificent staircase offset an incredible Christmas tree.
As David arrived to Kilronan Castle the ladies were enjoying a wonderful morning of luxury in the Bridal Suite. The rich textures and luscious gold tones created spectacular backdrop for Karen’s photos on the morning of her wedding. It is so relaxing at the castle with time to capture special moments with parents before heading for the church. David met with Enda at the church in Aughawillan for photos before Karen arrived. The aisle was delightful with glass jars filled with fairy lights and sprays of Gypsophila set on the floor at each pew. A detail that was really worked for the time of year and more unusual than lanterns. A charming ceremony and family photos completed it was time to head back to Kilronan Castle Estate and Spa.

Fabulous Winter Wedding Photos
at Lough Meelagh & Kilronan Castle Estate & Spa
With Kilronan Castle sitting on the shores of Lough Meelagh the lake makes for a perfect setting for a couple’s wedding photographs. As Karen and Enda arrived to the eastern shore there was not a breath of wind. Wandering out along the jetty the reflections in the water were magical. The lake in winter is edged by golden wisps of undulating reeds creating a wonderful base for the texture of the hillside beyond. At Kilronan Castle a wonderland awaited with the castle beautifully decorated for Christmas. The magnificent staircase offset an incredible Christmas tree and lots of stunning locations for wedding photographs had an extra touch of magic. Following speeches before the meal David left Karen and Enda to enjoy the delicious cuisine and an evening of celebration.
