A delight to photograph weddings in, there is a sense of privacy and charm throughout the gardens at The Slieve Russell Hotel.
Chatter and laughter rang out the door as three flower girls helped the ladies with their preparations on the morning of Jennifer and Gary’s wedding. Lovely bright satin robes matched the mint blue of the bridesmaid’s dresses. A delightful choice of colour which really popped out in the wedding photos. Jennifer and the girls were having photos taken outside her house when the Fire Engine carrying the groom passed by…but the guys were on the case and Gary kept his head turned, never peeking! Both bride and groom travelled to their wedding in grand style….the bride in a supremely elegant Black Rolls Royce Phantom with lots of room and a sleek comfortable ride… the groom and all his groomsmen gave the pageboys the ride of their lives as the made their way to the church in the Fire Engine. Contrasting styles both loved by the camera.

Wedding Photos with Fire Engine and in the Gardens of The Slieve Russell
Gary’s Fire Brigade colleagues formed a spectacular Guard of Honor with pikes and axes held high as Jennifer and Gary came out of the church. A bright red Fire Engine makes for lots of fun and colour in wedding photos but was sadly left behind as the couple made their way to The Slieve Russell Hotel. The gardens at the Slieve Russell have been very cleverly designed offering everything a couple could ask for, ease of access and multiple locations for wedding photos. Wonderful texture within the mature shrubbery and trees and lots of winding paths with interesting features around every turn. Jennifer and Gary’s wedding party was full of fun and ready for anything, at the stone ruins a couple of the groomsmen even popped up on the wall behind the ladies. A delight to photograph weddings in, there is a sense of privacy and charm throughout the gardens with many opportunities for foliage framing imagery. The Slieve Russell has another wonderful photography location… the fabulous fountains set to the front of the hotel. Bubbling water creating soft texture against the formal architecture of the hotel contrasts to make stunning wedding album photos.
