A lovely Christmas theme of red and white ran throughout the day of wedding photography on the 19th December 2015. Pyjamas with Rudolph on them and delightful bouquets of red and white roses made for wonderful Xmas wedding photographs. Red satin shoes peeked out, from under Fiona’s fabulous lace wedding dress, to catch the eye and the camera. With four bridesmaids it was a busy morning but it was relaxed and full of laughter and even time for memories to be revisited. A lovely photo of Fiona and her mum with Fiona’s Irish dancing dress (from times past) will keep stories being told and memories treasured forever.

Niall and the guys met with David at St.Mary’s, Moyne, Co.Longford. A charming ceremony was followed by family wedding photos. The church offered an elegant backdrop and the curving steps leading up to the altar accommodated even the largest family group wedding photograph. Lots of magical moments were captured by David as Fiona and Niall enjoyed their day. Arriving to Lough Rynn, Pamela was waiting with champagne to welcome the wedding party. With light fading the gardens were the first destination. Even though the sky was dull the walled gardens at Lough Rynn offer so much texture and structure both in the foliage and the materials of the architecture that it is a perfect location for wedding photography. A couple are always going to get incredible photos for their wedding album from the terraces at Lough Rynn. The Christmas decor at Lough Rynn 2015 was spectacular and the enormous Christmas tree a gorgeous seasonal backdrop for wedding photos. There is a location which comes into its own as night time falls on the castle and that is the glass corridor that connects the original castle with the newer elements of the hotel. The reflections of candle and twinkling lights in the glazing create a fairyland where wedding photography enters another realm.
The gardens are designed to hold greenery throughout the year and the gateways, steps, turret and glasshouses all create fantastic framing for photographs. With dusk falling the gardens and castle take on a fairy-tale quality with interior lights twinkling out through deep mullioned windows and high arched doorways. Cathy and Robert have spectacular wedding photos to choose from for their wedding album as Lough Rynn lived up to and surpassed its promise of being one of the very best wedding venues in Ireland. And the amazing luxurious interiors were yet to come!
