……the romantic turret in the western corner has a magical wrought iron balcony for a couple to escape into their own fairy-tale.
Perfect day for a white wedding…..to rare this summer but for Edel and Eamonn the sun came out and the wind stayed away. Edel enjoyed the luxury of the Bridal suite at Lough Rynn on the morning of her wedding. This gorgeous room is exquisitely decorated in shades of cream and gold with padded window seats set into tall mullioned windows overlooking the lawns to the lake beyond. A beautiful space to get ready for your wedding. Edel choose to have one bridesmaid and then six flower-girls and pageboys. The girls wore the most delicate shade of dusky pink with circlets of roses in their hair while the boys looked so cool in pale blue bermuda shorts and matching waistcoats and bow-ties. Edel wore a stunning Kathy de Stafford lace gown.

Wedding Photos at Lough Rynn Castle Estate & Gardens.
St Patrick’s church in Mohill where Edel and Eamonn held their wedding ceremony is only minutes from Lough Rynn. The approach allows for the bridal car to sweep right up to the steps of the church and the long broad aisle affords bride a spectacular entrance. The church was decorated with large bunches of green foliage in tall glass vases set upon transparent plinths, very elegant. The couple’s arrival to Lough Rynn was a pure wedding classic: in a silver Rolls Royce sweeping up the avenue to the red carpet leading to the door of the castle. The grounds of Lough Rynn work at any time of year but on a summer’s day in early August it is really at its peak. Pops of colour along the way throughout the walled gardens make for great wedding photos while the romantic turret in the western corner has a magical wrought iron balcony for a couple to escape into their own fairy-tale. A less formal area of woodland at the entrance to the walled gardens offers dappled light and soft textures. With sunshine a plenty everyone was relaxing outside before dinner call while the younger members enjoyed tumbling down the slopes of the lawns. Dinner called and guests being seated, there was time to capture some wedding photos in the extraordinary Baronial Hall. This is a fabulous room to relax and have some final photos before a delicious dinner and a fine night of celebration.
