A charming ceremony and family wedding photographs completed the wedding party stopped at the shores of Lough Melvin.
The softest of pink and lilac set the colour theme for the 19th September the day Colette and Gerard had set for their wedding. In County Fermanagh Colette and three bridesmaids were putting the finishing touches to hair and make-up as wedding photographer David Knight arrived. Nice personalised touches like the girls names on each hanger added wonderful detail to the wedding photos.
A brief stroll down along the grassy lane framed the ladies in a lush green setting and offered lovely opportunity for more casual wedding photography that is right on trend at the moment. David met with Gerard fifteen minutes before the ceremony at St.Joseph’s Church, Cashel, in Garrison.

A charming ceremony and family wedding photographs completed the wedding party stopped at the shores of Lough Melvin. A long, narrow pier set high above the waterline creates strong linear pattern in contrast to the merging Irish landscape that sweeps up from the edge of the water to the high, blunt topped hills of North Leitrim. Back on land two strong trunks of a majestic oak afforded warmth of tone and texture and a delightful backdrop for wedding photos of Colette and Gerard.
‘Far and Away’ …. David captured a cool wedding photograph of the couple as they sat and chatted on a wooden bench looking south over Lough Melvin and towards the road that would bring them to their guests at The Castle Dargan Hotel. Arriving in time for a quick spin out over the golf course there is an attractive wooden bridge straddling a shallow stream. The very cute, deep curved bridge is a great place for wedding photos without having to travel out further over the estate.
