Spectacular views with the tall columns creating dramatic perspective towards the altar.
The 16th September 2016 and a busy morning for Amy, with 4 bridesmaids, two mini bridesmaids, two flower-girls and two pageboys there were lots of action by the time David arrived to photograph her wedding day. Amy wore an amazing wedding dress with cut-out embroidered detail and the girls wore dusky pink. The guys complimented with cool grey suits. A busy more of photography which led to a magical moment as Amy’s mother walked her up the aisle of St. Mel’s Cathedral in Longford.
created a spacious atmosphere and fabulous photos. All the wedding party (except the bride) wore navy blue. Accented with pink the navy brought an attractive cohesion and balance to the imagery. Mary and Gerry married at St.Brigid’s Church in Drumcong. After the ceremony David spotted the warm sunlight spilling through the open doorway into the pretty entrance hall. A great spot for photos!

Wedding Photos @ St.Mel’s Cathedral Longford and Kilronan Castle
The extraordinary work that has restored St.Mel’s Cathedral is very impressive and the extra light is delightful to work with. Spectacular views down into the church can be had from choir gallery with the tall columns creating dramatic perspective towards the altar. Amy and Bryan’s family wedding photos at the cathedral were shot in front of a splendid backdrop of the classical interior. A quick stop at Lough Meelagh on way to Kilronan Castle brought a touch of Irish landscape into the story of their wedding day. Kilronan Castle and its luxurious interiors offer many locations for wonderful wedding photo. A favourite of the day was probably of Amy as she descended the long staircase with her fabulous long veil trailing behind. A classic wedding photo and a great one.
