Just catching the finishing touches by the make-up artist Irish wedding photographer David Knight arrived to Áine’s home on the morning of her wedding. Lovely oriental print robes added wonderful colour to the preparation photos. Áine’s gorgeous gown of beaded lace had a stunning back detail, the back of the dress sat low with strings of beads draped between. This detail photographed wonderfully and added extra dimension to the wedding photos throughout the day. Áine’s dark hair showed off a matching beaded head piece perfectly.
St Morgue’s Church in Bawnboy, Co Cavan is a modern church with seating set in a curve meaning all Áine and Cian’s friends and guests were within 6 rows of the couple and there was a delightfully intimate atmosphere throughout their wedding ceremony. Bouquets 2 Banquet a wonderful company from Belturbet supplied both flowers and wedding cake. Extraordinary attention to details offered extra opportunity for special wedding photos. A milk churn abundant with garden flowers greeted guest to the church and a magnificent pink wedding cake awaited guests at Lough Rynn.
With a quick stop to pull their first pint as man and wife at The Rocks of Bawn the wedding party headed for Lough Rynn. David caught the very best of Lough Rynn Áine and Cain wandered through the grounds. An iron bridge leading over the canal places couples in a spectacular sylvan setting affording wedding photographs that help create truly stunning wedding album spreads. Off to the walled gardens and David spotted a wonderful bit of magic. With instinctive placing he managed to capture Áine and Cain on the balcony of the turret with their wedding party below and purple aquilegia dancing in the foreground of the wedding photos. The magic was that the purple of the flowers toned perfectly with the bridesmaids dresses. These will be among our favourite wedding photographs for a long time to come.
