Very pretty floral robes kept with the colour theme for the day. A well thought out colour theme helps to bring wonderful continuity to photographs on a wedding day. Even the flower girls white dresses were beautifully embellished with silk flowers in matching shades of peach. The Aideen’s dress draped fabulously with soft flowing lines below a lace bodice and was accessorised with a gorgeous piece of hair jewellery and fabulous Jimmy Choo shoes. Paul and the guys followed the delightful freshness of the colour theme with light grey suits and peach ties. Aideen and Pauls ceremony was held in the architectural splendour of the Canis Major at The Clarion Hotel Sligo.

Wedding Photos at the Canis Major @ The Clarion Hotel Sligo

The Canis Major stands in the grounds of the hotel offering couples a strikingly handsome building full of interesting architectural elements. High curves, in the silhouette of the front facade, over the deep arched doorway lead up to the dainty bell-tower at the apex. The interior of the Canis Major has high windows draped in long purple curtains with gold tasselled tie-backs and matching luxurious velvet chairs for the bride and groom. There is a real sense of occasion and elegance about the building that brings a true feeling of ceremony to a civil wedding. Afterwards Aideen and Paul left their guests to enjoy the wonderful hospitality of The Clarion in the fabulous newly refurbished Pegasus Suite and drove out to Hazelwood. Set along the shore of Lough Gill the access to the lakeshore is super easy and a delightful cove set in a sylvan setting reflects the amazing landscape made famous by W.B Yeats.
