Tall grassy cliffs make for dramatic backdrops.
Christmas was still in the air on the 29th. Red PJ’s and a glamourous gold decorated Christmas tree set the theme for the whole day of wedding photography. A well organised morning left time to enjoy breakfast before it was time to put on dresses. Caroline wore a classic satin dress with gorgeous beaded detail on the shoulders which draped wonderfully at the back. Her bridesmaids wore red and all carried white bouquets. Wisely having chosen a 12.30 ceremony it was soon time to head to the church to meet Shane. St.Brigit’s in Ballintrillick was full to the brim with friends and family. A charming ceremony was followed by family photos. With lots of space, a lovely red carpet and another splendid Xmas tree this was the perfect spot for family groups.

Wedding Photography Gleniff Horseshoe and the Radisson Blu Sligo
The weather wasn’t playing fair as Caroline, Shane and their wedding party headed up to the Gleniff Horseshoe. This is one of the most stunning landscapes in Ireland and although the clouds were down it was still worth the journey to capture just a little of the magic in their wedding photos. Tall grassy cliff faces make for dramatic backdrops. And a twisty boreen to wander along adding an extra touch of romance and context to a couple’s story. Back at the Radisson Blu in Sligo another spectacular Christmas tree welcomed Caroline and Shane. Dusk falling and friends and family to mingle with it was time to relax and enjoy a celebratory glass. An amazing evening was ahead in the ever professional hands of the team at the Radisson Blu, Sligo.
