Beautiful bouquets of roses in shade of pink from the most delicate blush to deep cerise brought early summer brightness to the day.
Fun and laughter rolled out as the door opened to Samantha’s house as wedding photographer David Knight arrived on the morning of 20th May 2016. Beautiful oriental satin gowns included a mini version for Robyn (11/2ys) the flower girl. A bride’s house is a busy place on the morning of her wedding and once her wedding photographer arrives the pace picks up again. David shot a wonderful set of wedding photos of Samantha’s dad as he found a few moments refuge in the kitchen. Until the bride is dressed there is not so much for dad to do. This is how some magical images get captured on the day. Beautiful bouquets of roses in shade of pink from the most delicate blush to deep cerise brought early summer brightness to the day. The accent colour for the day, and worn by the bridesmaids, was a delightful soft Kelly green. It worked really well in all light and looked fabulous out in the lush green landscape.

Wedding Photography at the Hodson Bay Hotel.
A charming ceremony at St.Patrick’s Church in Dysart, Ballinasloe was full of family participation and tender moments. With a damp and blustery day the family group photos were taken in the church before everyone made their way to The Hodson Bay Hotel on the shore of Lough Ree. The day refused to dry out completely but Samantha, Kenneth and their wedding party braved the elements to get wedding photographs down by the shore. As their wedding photographer, David made best use of the surroundings and suggested the group shelter under the mature sycamore trees to the front of the hotel. Lovely soft light, a delicate canopy of green and the wonderful textures of the tree trunks added pure delight to the wedding photography. A visit to the elegant bridal suite at the Hodson Bay brought modern colour and texture to the photography and the view out from the balcony of the bridal suite is stunning, creating a spectacular backdrop.
