A fabulous open staircase allowed for spectacular wedding photographs of the bride.
A lovely morning of wedding photos as Lorraine and her bridesmaids enjoyed well organised hair and make-up preparations. A fabulous open staircase allowed for spectacular wedding photographs of the bride and also of the bridal party, the variation in height that steps give really enhances imagery. Lorraine and Scott’s ceremony was held at St.Patrick’s Church in Mohill. Again steps offered great opportunity; as the bride arrived and again for family photos before everyone made their way to Kilronan Castle. St.Patrick’s church is wonderful for wedding photos with a pale tiled aisle underfoot which reflects light back up. Lots of room around the beautiful altar and good light throughout allows for great wedding photography.

Wedding Photos at Battlebridge Lock and Kilronan Castle.
Lorraine and Scott choose to visit Battlebridge Lock for wedding photos. Interesting shapes and levels along with the fine craftsmanship of the stone work created a splendid backdrop. Add in a convenient boat, moored at the quayside, and the wedding photos became truly unique. A quick stop at Lough Meelagh added another waterside location for wedding photographs and the resident swans happily made their appearance to ensure a touch of magic. A fabulous welcome awaited, as Ciara was to hand to greet, the couple to Kilronan Castle. As David is so familiar with the Castle, no time gets wasted. There was ample time to get the very best out of the luxurious interiors that Kilronan has to offer. The backdrop of the Castle itself (with its magnificent facade), the high arched, mullioned windows, the stunning fireplace in reception and even the very elegant Spa help create extra special wedding photos.
