We are lucky to share in the most wonderful moments of people’s lives. And the 25th September offered up one of the very best of the year. Lucky the bride whose groom plays the music as she makes her way up the aisle. Conor drew Siobhan towards him as music from his fiddle sent tendrils of enticement down the aisle.
‘Magical moments, magical wedding photography’
Siobhan wore a soft, flowing strapless gown with delicate sweetheart neckline and carried a bouquet of ivory and orange sorbet roses, all beautifully offset by the bridesmaids in hunter green. This was a great combination of colour which in the wedding photographs suited the warmer tones of late September. Both houses were full of fun and everyone was relaxed and enjoying themselves as David captured lots of the preparation before heading for St.Mary’s Church in Drumlish.

Garlands of ivy wound their way up the rails leading to the church door and a stunning wooden arch delightfully strewn with berried foliage announced the aisle. The camera catch a very special wedding photo as Siobhan paused to kiss her mother on the way up the aisle. The ceremony over and family wedding photographs completed guests headed to Kilronan Castle while Siobhan, Conor and David stopped off at Lough Meelagh. The touches of autumn were just making themselves noticed in the Irish landscape as golden stems of rushes were topped by muted greens. The textures around the lake shore offer magnificent backgrounds for wedding photography and a single image across the whole spread of a photo-story book makes for huge impact.
Printed on the stunning matte paper of our Fine Art book the textures and tones of the landscape make you want to reach out and touch them. Arriving to Kilronan Castle to the warmest of welcomes from Ciara Siobhan and Conor were soon enjoying mingling with their friends and family. The Robert Genders room, decorated in the French salon style with its gilded mouldings and painted ceiling, adds another layer of intrigue at this time of year. With skies darkening outside the windows reflected the beauty of the room and created a fabulous setting for Siobhan and Conor’s wedding photography.
