Kilronan and the Church in Keadue make for a perfect partnership for ones wedding day.
Kilronan Castle bustled with activity as Helen, Adrian and their families enjoyed the morning of preparations on the 12th September 2015. Kilronan and the Church in Keadue make for a perfect partnership for ones wedding day. With just a short drive along the northern shore of the lake, stunning landscape entertains for the few minutes it take to reach The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
But first there is the luxury of the fine interiors of the castle as the backdrop for wedding photography. Tall, exquisitely draped windows pull gentle light onto faces and the gentle golden tones of the bridal suite create delightful surroundings in which to capture wedding photos. David could move between both families with ease catching the family groups before they made their way to the church.

Tall lanterns and bows of white organdie dressed the aisle as pageboy and flower-girl helped lead the way. A wonderful ceremony was made extra special by the fact that Helen’s father sat in with the musicians to play a tune. Fabulous family group wedding photos were completed before guests and family returned to Kilronan Castle to celebrate.
The wedding party stopped off at Lough Meelagh where with blue skies and only a breath of wind, the landscape sang with wonder and the reeds rustled in rhythm as they danced in the shallows. A pair of swans floating by on burnished water to put the final touches to fantastic wedding photographs and create extraordinary choices for a wedding album. Samantha greeted Helen and Adrian back to Kilronan and as the sun was shining a few more wedding photos were taken on the lawn beneath the castle. Sunshine, blue skies, lush lawns and the beautiful structure of Kilronan Castle as a backdrop all came together for magical wedding photography.
