Mount Falcon Estate is a wonderful setting to start your wedding day in and offered Irish Wedding Photographer Jim Schofield lots to explore. Australia is a world leader in wedding dress design and Mona’s gown lived up to its high reputation, her gown was a beautifully fitted with beaded silk organdie dropping to a spectacular fishtail train.

Mona and Simon’s ceremony at St.Muredach’s, Cathedral in Ballina was delightful to photograph. The cathedral has stunning vaulted ceilings and decorative tiled floors but ones focus is drawn to the bright open altar backed by magnificent stained glass windows. Delightfully, Mona wore her veil down as she walked up the aisle to join Simon. We only see this about three times a year and it adds a very special touch to the ceremony and to a bride’s wedding photographs.

Mona and Simon joined their guests at the Old Bond Store at Dillon Terrace for a celebratory glass of champagne. Before leaving Ballina the couple called to visit with Simon grandmother and capture some very memorable wedding photos that will be treasured through the generations.
As Mona and Simon arrived to Enniscrone the tide was receding leaving interesting patterns on the beach and allowing the light, just creeping through cloud cover, to dance across the puddles with the breeze. Beach wedding photography is always a favourite here in the studio with magical light and open expanses drawing one’s eye far into the future to the very edge of the view. At The Diamond Coast Hotel the couple had organised a Bahai ceremony as family and guests gathered again to witness this special day for Simon and Mona. An evening of joyous celebration in the wonderful care of the staff at The Diamond Coast Hotel was enjoyed by all.
